Ordering Information

Ordering: Our goal is to make access to great quality green coffee as easy as an online shopping cart. Focusing on selling to small and medium-sized roasting businesses, we sell unroasted green coffee in 50 pound Grain-Pro lined boxes for UPS shipment and/or 100 pound Grain-Pro lined polypropylene bags palletized for freight shipment. We price the total package (and have the per pound price next to it). When we receive a coffee in vacuum packed boxes, we resell it that same way. Most of our coffee is shipped to us in Grain-Pro lined jute bags and we repack it into Grain-Pro lined white woven polypropylene 50 and 100 pound bags, printed with an image of a coffee shrub. We also wholesale bags for roasted coffee and Abid Clever Coffee Drippers, and sell Quest coffee roasters. Filtropa filters are available upon request.

As far as placing an order, it's as simple as putting items in the shopping cart and checking out. Payment by various credit card methods is accepted. For larger orders over $4000, we offer terms. If you are making a large order and have an ordering history, contact us at coffeeshrub@gmail.com to discuss the options. If you have any questions about any of the coffees offered, try asking them in the comments section on the bottom of each coffees' page. This way you can receive feedback not just from us, but other roasters as well.

We can provide certifications for organic coffees, just ask.

Shipping: We ship orders Monday-Friday. Orders ship the next business day unless it is a UPS holiday. Orders received before 10 am PST will ship out that day. Our main method of shipping 50 pound boxes is UPS Ground. UPS is unable to ship to a PO BOX, so please provide a street address. Shipping costs are paid by you, just like any online shopping cart, but we extend our UPS discount to your order.   We are happy to ship using your UPS account number as well - chose "Use your UPS shipping account" from the shipping menu and add your UPS account number in the comment field.  Full bag orders have a four bag minimum and must ship freight. We can get a freight quote and add the cost to your order (see here for typical rates) — or you are welcome to arrange freight pick up. We do charge a flat $40/pallet fee for freight orders but UPS orders have no additional packaging or handling charges. Since we are focused on business to business relationships, the minimum order is $145, which is usually satisfied by the purchase of 2 coffee selections.

We welcome international customers, but may need to confirm your identity and address before shipment. We pass along our UPS discount to our international customers as well, as shown in the prices quoted upon checkout.  Shipments to some countries, like Japan, Australia and South Korea, require other permits and inspections so we may contact you for permits prior to shipment.
